New stuff!!!!

so, I got in an angsty-poet mood this weekend, and wrote a few (okay five...)

As I look out
At the waves
I think of you
And your promisses

When I'm not with you,
I miss you.
But when you're here,
I feel used

How can you
control my feelings?
Why are you always
in my thoughts?

I swore I'd never
fall in love
But you might have
changed that.

But how can I love
What I can't see?
How can I love a lie?
This is my delima.

Coming here always meant rest,
Until you and I came.
Now it just makes a mess
and leaves me full of shame.

I love you but I hate you
how can that be
that someone I thought I knew
could have this power over me?

Your scent lingers in my nose
Your taste on my lips
my hatred of you grows and grows
but it's you i miss

As I put our names in the sand
I wonder if I'm okay.
We're perminant here in the land
Until the water comes and washes us away.

These stolen moments
but why do we have to steal?
why are we afraid?

Ive known you so long
sixteen years in the making
this relationship

It's in all the tales
stories of romance and war
two friends fall in love.

and, I am starting a new book. It is a different genre than the other, but it should be done a lot sooner, it's semi-autobiographical.....but not really....
